Introduction: Mysteries Revealed

For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. (Luke 10:24)

Many deliberate text changes, mistranslations, and misinterpretations cloud God's Word and crucial end-time biblical prophecies. We must reexamine them in new light, if we are to know the truth. Scholars know from comparing existing manuscripts that some later versions have been altered, which alone disproves the inerrancy and infallibility of man's versions of Scripture, as the many different Bible translations confirm. Rather than adjust beliefs to reflect God's inerrancy and infallibility, many have tried to adjust God's Word to conform to deceptive doctrine and Denominational agenda. No known original Hebrew or Greek manuscripts exist today; but the Bible itself, compared with some copies that do, is clear evidence that considerable human flaws exist. With what is written, some simple logic, and help from God, we can begin to undo the redactions of fallible man and see things from God's perspective.

Lk. 11:52 "Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered." Also Mt. 23:13, "But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in." Jesus was speaking to the religious leaders of His day and of ours. His strong censure of them should serve as an indirect message to us, as in Mt. 16:6-13, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees..." representative of our religious leaders today.

God is not territorial. He is where love is. While some nations have more visible and prominent roles in the end-time scenario, God knows who and where His Children are, even if they are not yet fully aware. Jesus Christ told His Disciples in Jn. 16:12, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now." If even His inner circle could not bear some of the undiluted facts, then how much less we who are 2000 years deceived? Let us carefully consider His words as He reveals things to us, each in our own time. Current events are among our best keys to understanding and interpreting end-time biblical prophecy.

Some of what is now revealed was hidden until now by the Holy Spirit, even from the prophets who wrote it. Dan. 12:8-9 "And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." Rev. 10:4 "And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."

False teachers obscure Christ's identity by distorting the prophetic description. He will not try to conform to their fantastical interpretations. He will leave those attempts to the false prophets who have and still deceive the world, disguised as ministers of the Lord. Don't be deceived. God will not resort to false, silly, nature-defying trickery and deception. False prophets can rewrite what He said and distort its meaning but they cannot change immutable prophecy. God said what He said; and what He said will happen, at the appointed time. We must choose whether to believe in a common sense, logical, loving God, or false scribes' absurdity. God will reveal the truth to His Children.

We should listen to the opinions of others, carefully and prayerfully considering and learning from them when appropriate; but we should not allow others to do our thinking for us. We should listen for God's subtle witness, always letting our conclusions rest on Spirit guidance; and not be enslaved by opinions, conclusions, and teachings that are not verifiable. When we don't understand something Biblical, that we need to know, we should ask God's help; not just blindly accept the popular teachings of the status quo. 1 Th. 5:20-21 "Despise not prophesyings. Prove (examine) all things; hold fast that which is good." Philippians 3:15 "Let us therefore, as many as be perfect (mature), be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you."

Note: These chapters are best read in the order written, as parts of some chapters build on previous ones. Let us continue, remembering throughout, "For the testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy" (Rev. 19:10)..
